System performance becomes poor when you run the Pen Input Service on a computer that is running Windows XP Service Pack 2 together with Office 2003
You run the Pen Input Service (WispTis.exe) on a computer that is running Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) together with Microsoft Office 2003. When you do this, system performance becomes poor.
If you use the system performance monitor tool (Perfmon.exe) to monitor system performance, you find that the WispTis.exe process allocates memory. However, the WispTis.exe process does not free the memory when the process exits.
This problem occurs because a graphics device interface (GDI) memory leak occurs in the WispTis.exe process.
