Error message when you try to open a campaign activity in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0: "Exception of type 'System.Web.HttpUnhandledException' was thrown"

SYMPTOMS
When you try to open a campaign activity in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0, you receive the following error message:
An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.
Error Details:Exception of type 'System.Web.HttpUnhandledException' was thrown.
This problem occurs if you removed the Status Reason field from the Campaign Activity entity.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because Microsoft Dynamics CRM checks the value in the Status Reason field to determine how to display a title in the Web browser window.
RESOLUTION
This problem is fixed in the latest cumulative update rollup for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0. For more information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
