The go offline process does not download a user record to the local MSDE database in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0

When you go offline in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0, the go offline process does not download a user record to the local Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Engine (MSDE) database. This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:
- The user is in a child business unit.
- The user has a role where the read permission on the User entity is at the Business Unit depth only.
