On a Windows Vista-based computer, you use Windows Photo Gallery to print a photo.
On the Windows Photo Gallery toolbar, you click Print. The How do you want to print your pictures dialog box appears.
You select the paper type and the paper size that you want to use.
In this scenario, the paper type and the paper size that you select is unexpectedly changed to a different paper type or size. However, when you print the picture, the paper type and the size that you selected is actually used.
This problem occurs only when the paper type or size selection is a subset of another paper type or size selection. For example, Photo Paper is a subset of Photo Paper Pro. If you select Photo Paper, the paper type selection may be incorrectly shown as Photo Paper Pro. If you select JIS B4 (Long Grain), the paper type selection may be incorrectly shown as JIS B4.
Note Although these settings may change to show the incorrect paper type and size, the correct settings are used and the item is printed correctly.
