When you try to add a URL to a Web menu item in Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0, you receive the following error message:
Development site is not found in the EPParameters table.
This problem occurs because the DevelopmentSiteID field is empty or the value in the DevelopmentSiteID field is incorrect. Therefore, when the getDevelopmentSiteURL method in the SysEpWebPageDefinition class checks the EPParameters table and verifies the DevelopmentSiteID field, this problem occurs.
To resolve this problem, follow these steps:
Click Administration, expand Setup, expand Internet, expand Enterprise Portal, and then click Web sites.
Verify that the listed Web site that is indicated as the development Web site is correct.
If more than one Web site is listed, remove all the Web sites that are no longer related or no longer exist.
Reregister the correct Web site that exists. To do this, follow these steps:
Delete the Web site from the registered site list.
Click Register site.
Add the Web site to the registered site list.
