In Microsoft Antigen 9.0 for Exchange, the Antigen Administrator displays no General Options settings. These settings include the options that are not related to passwords.
When this issue occurs, you click to re-select the Use Proxy Credentials option or the User UNC Credentials option, reenter the passwords, and then click Save. When you do this, the Antigen Administrator appears to have correctly saved the information. However, if you close and then reopen the Antigen Administrator, the Antigen Administrator still displays no General Options settings.
Additionally, the following error messages are logged in the program log:
ERROR: Unable to decrypt the data stored in UNCPassword. hr=80090005
ERROR: (0x80090005) Bad Data. An error occurred while retrieving UNC credentials.
This issue occurs if the ProxyPassword registry entry or the UNCPassword registry entry is corrupted.
To resolve this issue, install Hotfix Rollup 3 for Antigen 9.0 for Exchange Service Pack 1.
