Error message when you run the "Send Direct E-mail" functionality by using a user-defined query in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0: "Either you do not have access to the record or the record does not exist"

When you run the Send Direct E-mail functionality to send an e-mail message in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0, you receive the following error message:
Either you do not have access to the record or the record does not exist.This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:
- You use a user-defined query to send the e-mail message.
- In the Send Direct E-mail page, you click All records on current page or All records on all pages in theSend direct e-mail to section.
