Consider the following scenario. You have Microsoft Antigen 9.0 for Microsoft Exchange installed in a cluster environment, and there is more than one Network Name resource. In this scenario, Antigen only uses the first Network Name resource, even if the resource is not the correct one. Additionally, the following event error message is logged in both the Application log and in the ProgramLog.txt file:
ERROR: ADGetStorage - Could not bind to Active Directory configuration context. Error code: 80005000
Note The ProgramLog.txt file is located in the Antigen installation folder.
To resolve this problem, install Hotfix Rollup 3 for Antigen 9.0 for Exchange with Service Pack 1(SP1). For more information about how to obtain and install this rollup, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
950791 Description of Hotfix Rollup 3 for Antigen 9.0 for Exchange with Service Pack 1
After you install this rollup, Antigen searches for the Exchange System Attendant resource, and then Antigen retrieves the NetworkName property.
Note Before you can install Hotfix Rollup 3 for Antigen 9.0 for Exchange with SP1, you must have Antigen 9.0 for Exchange with SP1 installed.
