Error message when you use Windows Media Center to burn a CD or a DVD from a folder that represents the root of a drive in Windows Vista: "An error has occurred in burning the CD/DVD"

Consider the following scenario:
  • On a computer that is running Windows Vista Ultimate or Windows Vista Home Premium, you have pictures that are stored on a hard disk drive.
  • In Windows Vista Media Center, you use the Library Setup Wizard to add the root of the hard disk drive to the list of folders that Media Center watches for media files.
  • You start the Burn CD/DVD Wizard in Media Center, you add pictures from Picture Library from the folder that represents the root of the hard disk drive, and then you start the burn process.
In this scenario, you receive the following error message:

  4. Type a name for the label, and then click Next.
