In Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003, pictures that have certain shadow settings display incorrectly.
To fix this problem, follow these steps:
- Apply hotfix 953342.

- Enable the hotfix.

- On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
- Type DisableEmbossShadowPictureRecolor, and then press ENTER.
- Right-click DisableEmbossShadowPictureRecolor, and then click Modify.
- In the Value data box, type 1, and then click OK.
- Exit Registry Editor.
