You create a performance view in the Operations Console of Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 Service Pack 1. When you create the performance view, you specify a group in the Show data contained in a specific group property. When you check the performance view in the Operations Console, the objects that are displayed in the performance view are scoped to the specified group correctly. However, when you check the performance view in the Web Console, the objects that are displayed in the performance view are not scoped to the specified group. For example, you also find objects for computers that are not members of the specified group.

To resolve this problem, apply this hotfix on each computer that hosts a Operations Manager Web Console Server role. A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problemP1 that P2 described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problemP1 described in this article. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next software update that contains this hotfix.
