You upgrade an earlier version of Microsoft SQL Server to Microsoft SQL Server 2008. However, a problem occurs during the upgrade. After the upgrade, you are notified that the following features are not installed:

You cannot uninstall SQL Server 2008 because the following features are not installed:
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
You can safely ignore the error message in the Summary.txt file only if you receive the following error message when you run the command:
In other situations in which the error message is logged in the Summary.txt file, you should diagnose the actual problem that causes the error message to be logged.
No feature were uninstalled during the setup execution.
