Changes are not reflected if you reschedule a service activity by using the "Reschedule" button in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0

Symptoms
You reschedule a service activity by clicking the Reschedule button in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0. Then, you perform steps in the Rescheduling Wizard. However, when you browse back to the service calendar, no changes are reflected in the service calendar. This means that hanges are not saved in the CRM database.
Resolution
