On a Windows Embedded NavReady-based device, you run an application that uses a Bluetooth device to connect to a phone. The phone does not support Phone Book Access Profile (PBAP). However, the phone does support SyncML. When you run the application, you may experience one of the following problems.
The connection attempt may fail.
If the connection is established successfully, you cannot download the phone book from the phone by clicking phonebook.
For some equipment, the SyncML host name must be set to a certain name to enable the connection. However, you cannot set the SyncML host name.
This problem occurs because the SyncML runtime depends on the Simple APIs for XML (SAX) and Coreloc components. However, these components are missing from the sysgen code.
This problem occurs because an incorrect COM GUID is used in SyncML code.
This problem occurs because of the code design.
