FIX: SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services may stop responding when you move a history snapshot or a linked report to a new folder location

Bug #: 50003255 (SQL Hotfix)
Microsoft distributes Microsoft SQL Server 2008 fixes as one downloadable file. Because the fixes are cumulative, each new release contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous SQL Server 2008 fix release.
SYMPTOMS
Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services (SSRS) may stop responding. This problem can occur when you render a report in either of the following scenarios:
  • You create a history snapshot of a report that has subreports. You move the history snapshot to a different folder location.
  • You create a linked report of a report that has subreports. You move the linked report to a different folder location.
RESOLUTION
The fix for this issue was first released in Cumulative Update 1. For more information about how to obtain this cumulative update package for SQL Server 2008, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
