FIX: The HasRows property of the DataReader object is missing in the OLE DB Provider for DB2 in Host Integration Server 2006

Consider the following scenario in Microsoft OLE DB Provider for DB2 in Microsoft Host Integration Server 2006:
  • You have the Microsoft .NET Managed Provider for the IBM DB2 database.
  • You use the provider against an IBM Advanced Interactive Executive (AIX) operating system to loop through all the rows by using the Read method in the DataReader object.
  • You try to use the HasRows property.
In this scenario, the HasRows property returns a value of False. Additionally, the return value of the property is not updated until the GetValue method in the DataReader object is called.
