Consider the following scenario in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2:
You create a BizTalk application that contains a schema file that has multiple root nodes.
In the BizTalk application, you create two or more maps that specify their source schemas from the same multi-root schema file.
You select one map as an inbound map on a receive port or as an outbound map on a send port.
In this scenario, you cannot select other maps that have source schemas that have the same multi-root schema file on the same port.
For example, you perform the following actions:
You create a file that is named Schema1.xsd. Schema1.xsd contains root node A and root node B.
You create a map called A2C.btm. In this map, the source schema is from root node A in Schema1.xsd. Then, you create a map called B2D.btm, in which the source schema is from root node B in Schema1.xsd.
You select A2C.btm as an inbound map on receive port 1.
In this example, you cannot select B2D.btm as the inbound map on receive port 1.
