FIX: Event ID 4096 is logged in the BizTalk Server Application log when you use BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet 3.5 to receive a 3A4 PIP message from a trading partner and when the value of the MonetaryAmount element is less than 1

Consider the following scenario:
You use Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet 3.5 to receive a 3A4 Partner Interface Process (PIP) message from a trading partner.
In the message, the value of the MonetaryAmount element is less than 1. For example, the value of the MonetaryAmount element is 0.99.
In this scenario, the message is truncated when you view the message detail in the Group Hub. Additionally, an Error event that resembles the following is logged in the BizTalk Server Application log:
Event Type: Error Event Source: BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet Event Category: None Event ID: 4096 Description: Source module: RNDisAssembler Correlation information: Description: Receive pipeline rejected incoming message due to the following RNIF exception: UNP.SCON.VALERR : A failure occurred while validating the service content.

This issue was first fixed in the following cumulative update of BizTalk Server:

You must have the following software installed before you apply this hotfix:
Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2 or Microsoft BizTalk Server 2013 R2.

You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix. However, you must restart Internet Information Services (IIS) and the BizTalk Host Instance services.
Hotfix replacement information
This hotfix does not replace any other hotfixes.
The English version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time item in Control Panel.
After you apply this hotfix, the restriction on the minimum value of the MonetaryAmount element is changed from 1 to 0.
