Consider the following scenario. You configure your settings to the Santiago time zone on a Windows-based computer. Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 Server is installed on a Windows Server-based computer that is set to the Santiago time zone. In this scenario, when you select October 11, 2008 in the CRM calendar, you may receive the following error message:
Unexpected Error. An error has occurred. For more information, contact your System Administrator.
If the DevErrors parameter is set to "On" in the Web.config file, you may see error messages that resemble the following:
Microsoft CRM Unhandled Error Details: Server Error in '/' Application. Server was unable to process request. Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.
Exception Details: System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server was unable to process request.
Source Error: An unhandled exception was generated during the execution of the current web request. Information regarding the origin and location of the exception can be identified using the exception stack trace below.
A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.

The English version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time item in Control Panel.

Install this hotfix on computers that are running the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 server components.
You must have Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 installed to apply this hotfix.
If you are prompted, restart the computer after you install the hotfix.
This hotfix can be removed through Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
