When you are sequencing Adobe Reader 7.x or 8.x using Microsoft Application Virtualization, you encounter the following error when you are starting the monitoring phase:
"AdbeRdr709_en_US.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
This is due to an incompatibility of the NETOP FEAD Optimizer installer with the Application Virtualization Sequencer.
The current workaround is to extract the files out to a temporary directory and launch the .MSI executable during the monitoring phase.
The issue of attempting to monitor Adobe Acrobat Reader 7 and Reader 8 installation for sequencing the application has been addressed in the Application Virtualization System, ver. 4.5 Release Notes' "Application Virtualization Sequencer – Monitoring Installation" and its Workaround.
