SCOM reporting and SQL Server Reporting Services 2005 is installed on a machine whose regional and language setting is English New Zealand. When you run the report from the SCOM console you get the following System Center Operations Manager 2007 error message:
Cannot execute report.
Value of ‘1/01/0001 12:00:00 AM’ is not valid for ‘Value’ should be between ‘MinDate’ and ‘MaxDate’.
Parameter name: Value
This happens because, the reporting services checks the local system where it finds the AM/PM symbol as AM PM. Whereas it expects it to be a.m. / p.m.
And the local machine symbol under regional and language setting shows as AM /PM
And the local machine symbol shows as AM /PM
To resolve this issue, change the AM / PM symbol in regional and language settings to a.m. and p.m.
And then restart the computer.
