Action
When external users access OWA on an Exchange server running Symantec Enterprise Vault through IAG, the Enterprise Vault toolbar and navbar buttons may not display correctly.
Result
Enterprise Vault functionality is limited.
Cause
Enterprise Vault is designed to process a standard OWA URL (https://<Server URL or IP>/exchange), but the IAG URL Encoding ads an additional FQDN/hostname part. The resulting URL used to display the Enterprise Vault toolbar and navbar buttons is malformed and blocked by IAG.
Resolution

To resolve this problem, the Javascript file EVShared.js installed on the Exchange server by Enterprise Vault needs to be modified. A detailed step-by-step guide for this is provided on Symantec's website:

http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/291040.htm

Note that the IAG administrator may need to experiment with the FQDN that is inserted into the script. Variations include the FQDN or the Domain-Name of the Outlook Web Access Server.
