SYMPTOMS
When you run an application that requires the common language runtime (CLR) to load a mixed-mode assembly in the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2 (SP2), a memory leak occurs. You find a gradual increase in the memory by using one of the following methods:
  • You track the Bytes in Loader Heap performance counter under the .NET CLR Loading group in Performance Monitor.
  • You track the Virtual Bytes performance counter under the Process group in Performance Monitor.
  • You track the Task Manager.
