UAC and the Microsoft Dynamics SL client installation on Windows Vista or on Windows 7
This article describes whether User Account Control (UAC) should be turned on or turned off when you install the Microsoft Dynamics SL client on a computer that is running Windows Vista or Wndows 7.
When you install the client for Microsoft Dynamics SL 7.0 Feature Pack 1, the client for Microsoft Dynamics SL Service Pack 2, or later versions, we recommend that UAC be turned off. You can turn UAC on after the client installation has successfully completed.
When you install the client for Microsoft Dynamics SL 7.0 Service Pack 1 or earlier versions, UAC must be turned off. You can turn UAC on after the client installation has successfully completed.
