When you try to activate your trial version of Microsoft Office or Microsoft Works the Office Activation Assistant (OAA) displays an error message. When you click yes or no at the prompt in the error dialog, the OAA starts and will run successfully.
This issue may occur with any of the following trial products:
· Microsoft Office Basic 2007 Trial
· Microsoft Office Small Business 2007 Trial
· Microsoft Office Professional 2007 Trial (contained in the Office Ready PC Program
· Microsoft Works 8.5 or 9.0 with Office Home and Student 2007 Trial
· Microsoft Works 8.5 or 9.0 with Office Small Business 2007 Trial
This is caused when the code that directs the size and location of the OAA wizard dialog script conflicts with another program. This does not occur consistently. This does not affect the successful activation of the product.
Click Yes or No at the prompt in the error dialog, the OAA starts and will run successfully.
