In Microsoft Intelligent Application Gateway 2007, when you publish ActiveSync based on Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1 (SP1), you experience the following symptoms.
When a Windows Mobile 6.1 device user sends or replies to an e-mail message, this user receives a blank page. After the user dismisses the blank page, the message that the user sent still remains in the Outbox. Additionally, the e-mail message is resent every time that the device is synchronized until the user manually deletes the message from the Outbox.
Windows Mobile device users cannot perform synchronization by using ActiveSync. Additionally, IAG Web Monitor displays some rule-set violation messages for ActiveSync users.
Symptom 1 occurs because of a change in the Exchange ActiveSync protocol version that is introduced in Exchange Server 2007 SP1 and that is used by Windows Mobile 6.1. This change causes an error when Intelligent Application Gateway works on some types of message operations and message-sending requests.
Symptom 2 occurs because some URLs and parameters in the out-of-box rule-sets are implemented incorrectly.
To resolve this problem, apply Intelligent Application Gateway 2007 Service Pack 2 Update 1. For more information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
