You deploy Outlook Anywhere for Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1 (SP1) and you enable Outlook clients to access their mailboxes through an RPC/HTTP proxy server. This is also known as a Client Access server (CAS). However, if you are using a split session configuration, the Outlook clients are directed to global catalogs from the wrong domain.

How to Obtain the Latest Service Pack or Update Rollup for Exchange 2007After you apply this hotfix, you have to set the following registry subkey to resolve the problem:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CCS\Services\MSExchangeSA\Parameters\Change HTTP Referral to IP
The default value is “0.” However, you should set the value to "1" to enable the checking of global catalog availability according to split session logic. After you change the registry value, you have to restart the Microsoft Exchange System Attendant service.
