In Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2, the tracking data may not be moved as expected from the BizTalkMsgBoxDb database to the BizTalkDTADb database. When this occurs, you do not receive error messages or warning messages in the event log that indicate what the problem is. However, the tracking tables continue to increase, and the BizTalkMsgBoxDb database grows to a significantly large size.
Note The tracking data is stored in tables that havenamessuch as TrackingData_x_y, wherex and y are integers that range from 0 through 3.
Hotfix informationA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
