You upload a PowerPoint presentation to a Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2007 meeting. If the file was created in the Live Meeting 2005 Add-in for PowerPoint, the Live Meeting console displays a message. The message indicates that PowerPoint presentations that are created by using the Live Meeting 2005 Add-in for PowerPoint are not supported in Live Meeting 2007.
Additionally, if you use the stand-alone slide uploader on the Meeting Details page to upload the PowerPoint presentations, you may receive an error message that states that the browser is not ActiveX enabled. If you continue to use the stand-alone slide uploader, you may receive the following error message:
Please select a Live Meeting Document (.lmp or .pwp) for upload.
The PowerPoint presentation may include Poll slides, Web slides, or other similar slides. PowerPoint presentations that do not contain these kinds of slides can be uploaded from the Live Meeting 2007 meeting console.
You cannot upload any PowerPoint presentation by using the stand-alone slide uploader.
This issue occurs because the uploader ActiveX control that is installed on the computer is not recognized by the stand-alone slide uploader.
To upload PowerPoint presentations that contain slides that are created in the Live Meeting 2005 Add-in for PowerPoint, follow these steps:
