This article describes how to change the misleading text in the Share Information using Live Meeting menu option in Microsoft Office Communicator 2007.
Existing menu option
Assume that you are using Office Communicator 2007 together with the Conferencing Add-in. In this configuration, you can escalate an Instant Messaging session to a Web conference by using Live Meeting through Office Communications Server or by using the Live Meeting service through Office Communicator. However, when you open an Office Communicator conversation window and then click the View More Options arrow in the upper-right corner, the menu displays the following option:
Share Information using Live Meeting
If you select this menu option, a conference session is opened by using the Office Communications Server. However, the displayed menu option does not make it clear to the user whether the session will be opened by Office Communications Server or by the Live Meeting service.

Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
