User host address: 192.168.0.2

Exception
Exception type: Microsoft.Exchange.Clients.Owa.Core.OwaWin32Exception
Exception message: Failed to remove unnecessary privileges, GetLastError()=5

Call stack
Microsoft.Exchange.Clients.Owa.Core.Globals.InitializeApplication()
Microsoft.Exchange.Clients.Owa.Core.Global.ExecuteApplicationStart(Object sender,
EventArgs e)
Cause

This issue may occur if the 'Physical Path Credentials' attribute on the Advanced Settings of OWA virtual directory is using a specific user account. This means only that specific user account has access to the physical path for the OWA virtual directory.

You should always use the 'Application User (pass-through authentication)'. With this option, IIS uses the credentials of the requesting user to access the physical path.
Resolution
  1. Open Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.
  2. Expand the SBS Web Applications site.
  3. Click the OWA virtual directory.
  4. Click Advanced Settings.
  5. Edit the entry for Physical Path Credentials and set it to Application User (pass-through authentication).
