FIX: Message type MT 578 that does not contain 22H PAYM indicator does not fail validation as expected when you use Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2008 Message Pack

SYMPTOMS
Consider the following scenario in Microsoft BizTalk Server:
  • You use Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.1, Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.3, Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 3.0, or Microsoft BizTalk 2009 Accelerator for SWIFT to process messages with Message Pack 2008.
  • You have enabled Business Rule Engine (BRE) validation on the SWIFT disassembler (DASM) and have deployed validation policy for MT 578 messages.
  • You receive an MT 578 message that does not contain 22H PAYM indicator.
In this scenario, the MT 578 message does not fail validation as expected. The message is accepted by BizTalk Server.
Note According to the SWIFT standard, 22H PAYM indicator is required in an MT578 message.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because of an error in the validation policy for MT 578 messages in Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2008 Message Pack.
RESOLUTION
Apply the hotfix to address this problem. For detailed steps, follow the instructions in the ReadMe.txt file that the hotfix package contains.
