Error message when you try to access an SD card on a Windows XP-based computer that has a particular combination of SD host controller and SD card: "The disk in drive <X> is not formatted"
You insert a Secure Digital (SD) card into the SD card slot on a Windows XP-based computer. However, when you try to access the drive of the SD card, you receive the following error message:
The disk in drive X is not formatted. You receive this error message even though the SD card is already formatted.
This problem occurs in certain combinations of SD host controllers and SD cards.
This problem occurs because the Sdbus.sys driver tries to use high-speed mode even if the SD card does not support it.
