This update package fixes the following issue:
  • 972716 The data in the QoEMetrics database is deleted if the retention days for the QoE records are set to 0 in the Communications Server 2007 R2 Monitoring Server
This cumulative update also fixes the following previously documented issue:
  • 968940 Communication Monitoring Server 2007 R2 cannot support more than 100 instances of Mediation Server or of A/V Conferencing Server

To install this update package, install the OCS2007-KB971298-amd64-MonitoringServer.msp package on the following computers:
  • Office Communications Server 2007 R2 – Monitoring Server
Note When you apply this update on servers that run Windows 2008 and have the User Account Control (UAC) enabled, make sure that you start the installation of the update (.msp) by using the elevated Command Prompt. To do this, follow these steps:
