To provide industry-standard compliance with the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) 2009 Standards Release Guide (SRG) specification, Microsoft will release BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2009 Message Pack. This new release provides the compatibility that is required for you to use the SWIFT standard that will be imposed in November 2009.
Note Microsoft intends to release a new message pack for BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT each year to coincide with the annual updates to the SWIFT Standards Release Guide.
The 2009 Standard provides support for the following new SWIFT message types:
These SWIFT dual message types are used as cover messages according to the 2009 SRG specification. This hotfix includes the updated Microsoft BizTalk 2009 Accelerator for SWIFT (A4SWIFT) disassembler (DASM). This DASM resolves schemas during parsing and it validates XML at run time for the new messages types.
Additionally, the hotfix also resolves following issues:
When you execute a custom message repair and submission runtime (MRSR) workflow for the MT574_IRSLST and MT574_W8BENO message types, you receive an error message that resembles the following:
Terminating the orchestration due to a general exception. The exception message is Message Type <574> Not Found.
After you configure A4SWIFT, you perform the following steps to set the A4SWIFT properties for message repair and for new submission:
- You open the Profile Web Client Web site in Internet Explorer.
- You locate the Links and Properties tab, and then you click Add Global Configuration Properties.
- On the ADD/EDIT Global Properties page, you add or update an LTIdentifier value in the MyLT Identifier field.
- You submit the new value.
In this situation, the update is not submitted successfully and you receive an error message that resembles the following:
"Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. Parameter name: index"
When you run a custom MRSR orchestration in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2009, the following message types are not processed:
When the orchestration runs, it only executes the workflow for those message types that are available in the MsgType table. The issue occurs because these three message types are not in the MsgType table.Note
You must apply this hotfix before you install the BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2009 Message Pack.
Apply the hotfix and update your existing pipeline projects by using the new A4SWIFT disassembler. For detailed instructions about how to do this, see the Readme.txt file that is contained in the hotfix package. For detailed instructions on how to fix the custom MRSR workflow problem, see the Readme.txt file.
