On a Windows Server 2008-based computer that has the Windows Internal Database feature installed, an instance of SQL Server that is named %COMPUTERNAME%\MICROSOFT##SSEE is discovered. If the System Center Operations Manager 2007 DBCreateWizard tool tries to create a database on that instance, the tool fails. Additionally, you receive the following error message:
Date: 2/10/2009 4:32:32 PMApplication: Application Version: 6.1.7022.0Severity: ErrorMessage: Database creation failed. The database might have been incompletely created or modified.System.InvalidOperationException: An error occurred while trying to create the database on your SQL Server. Check your logs for more information. at Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.Setup.DBCreateWizard.Program.LaunchDBCreation() at Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.Setup.DBCreateWizard.SummaryPage.BackgroundThread()
To resolve this problem, select a different instance of SQL Server to install.
