The dial-in conferencing page for a conference that is hosted on Office Communications Server 2007 R2 does not provide enough information in error situations

Symptoms
In Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2, a user tries to dial into a conference through the conferencing attendant as the conference leader or as an authenticated. In this case, the user must use a telephone extension or a full telephone number. However, the dial-in conferencing page does not provide this information to the user if one of the following conditions is true:
  • The user does not have an assigned telephone number.
  • The user has a telephone extension that is not unique in the enterprise.
Therefore, the user cannot dial into the conference as the conference leader or as an authenticated user.
