Windows Live Movie Maker simply will not start. On the European (N) version of Windows Vista or Windows 7 nothing appears to happen when you try to launch/open Windows Live Movie Maker or in some cases you may see an error from Window Live Movie Maker that says “This application has failed to start because WMVCore.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.”
This problem occurs because the European editions of Windows Vista and Windows 7 that are designated as "N" do not include Windows Media Player and related technologies that are required to operate Windows Live Movie Maker.
To resolve this problem, install Windows Media Player. To do this, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
