Action
When there are multiple microphones attached to a Windows Vista computer, the volume levels for the microphones may change by a small amount when the Default microphone device is changed.
Result
The volume level for the other microphone devices may change by a small amount.

Resolution
After changing the Default microphone device, adjust the level for all microphones to the desired level in the Sound control panel.
