Description of the PowerPoint 2007 hotfix package (Powerpoint-x-none.msp, Pptconv-x-none.msp): October 27, 2009

This article describes the Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 issues that are fixed in the hotfix package that is dated October 27, 2009.

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • When you use the inking functionality to annotate a Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 presentation in the Slide Show mode, a horizontal line appears unexpectedly.

  • You use the Slide Show mode in PowerPoint 2007 to run a presentation that was created in Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003. If a slide contains several animations, the animations run slowly.

  • The date in a PowerPoint 2007 presentation is always displayed in the English (United States) format in the footer section in the Normal view or in the header section in the Notes Master view. This problem occurs even if you set the current input format and the operating system locale to English (United Kingdom).
