You use Microsoft Office Project 2007 to connect to a team project on a Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Team Foundation Server (TFS) server.
You change one of the work item tracking (WIT) metadata in the project. For example, you perform one of the following actions:
You publish a project on the TFS server.
You click the Edit Areas and Iterations item on the Team menu in Office Project 2007. Then, you change one of the nodes in the Areas and Iterations dialog box.
You update the project on Microsoft Office Project.
In this scenario, you notice that duplicate items appear on the lookup table for the WIT.
