FIX: You obtain unexpected rows when you run a query against a virtual catalog in Commerce Server 2007

Consider the following scenerio. You use the ctlg_getResults_for_SingleCatalog stored procedure to search a virtual catalog against the product catalog database in Microsoft Commerce Server 2007. Then, you specify the value of the i_Classtype parameter as 16. However, you receive a search result that contains unexpected rows.

This problem also occurs if the following conditions are true:
  • You use the CatalogSearch class to search for a virtual catalog.
  • You query a virtual catalog that contains products from different base catalogs and the base catalogs have the same object identifier (also known as OID) value.
This problem occurs because of an error in the ctlg_GetSQLQuery stored procedure.
