Issue that this hotfix package fixes

  • Consider the following scenario. You assign multiple tasks as a successor to a single task (task 1). For the task immediately following task 1, you add an actual start date before the start date of task 1. Then, you set the % Complete field. In this scenario, the late finish date for task 1 is incorrect.
  • In Office Project 2007, when you use the Organizer dialog box to copy fields that contain lookup tables, the lookup table values and descriptions are not copied.
  • Consider the following scenario. You publish an existing project that is overwritten by a master project. Then, you view the project-level custom fields from Project Web Access and they appear with the wrong values. In this scenario, The values may change from existing sub projects within the master project.
  • You expand a sub project from a master project and make a change. Then, you open the same sub project by itself within the same session. You cannot save the sub project. Additionally, Office Project 2007 crashes.
  • You assign cost resources and work resources, or material resources and work resources to the same task in Office Project 2007 and tasks are in progress. After you publish a project, the Reporting (Project Publish) queue job takes a long time to be completed.
