The On-Screen Keyboard displays the numeric keypad incorrectly after you set the default input language to Chinese (Simplified, PRC) in Windows 7 and in Windows Server 2008 R2

Consider the following scenario on a computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2:
  • You enable the Chinese (Simplified, PRC) keyboard.
  • You set Chinese (Simplified, PRC) as the default input language.
  • You use the On-Screen Keyboard (OSK).
  • You enable the numeric keypad in the OSK.
In this scenario, the numeric keypad displays incorrectly. For example, the number "3" is displayed as "1," and the number "8" is displayed as "4."

Note The incorrectly displayed numbers still function correctly.
