FIX: In Host Integration Server 2006, a slow memory leak occurs in the SNA MngAgent service when you use a WMI script to retrieve data that is related to Host Integration Server

SYMPTOMS
In a Microsoft Host Integration Server 2006 environment, you use a Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) script to retrieve data that is related to Host Integration Server. In this situation, a slow memory leak occurs in the SNA Server Manage Agent (SNA MngAgent) service.

For example, you run a WMI script such as the following every six minutes or more to retrieve data that is related to Host Integration Server. In this example, the memory usage of the SNA MngAgent service slowly increases.
wmic.exe /NAMESPACE:\\root\Microsoft_HIS path MsSna_Domain
Eventually, the memory usage consumes about 2 gigabytes (GB) of memory, and then the operation fails.
CAUSE
This issue occurs because virtual memory is not released when the operation is disconnected from the SNA MngAgent service. When the operation is run every six minutes or more, the WMI function WmiSna!CSnaOleProvider unloads. This behavior triggers this issue.
