Service Pack 1 (SP1) is available for Microsoft Enterprise Desktop Virtualization (MED-V) 1.0.
MED-V 1.0 SP1 offers the following additional operating system support for the client, management, and server installations of MED-V 1.0:
All x86-based and x64-based versions of Windows 7 Enterprise, of Windows 7 Ultimate, and of Windows 7 Professional are supported for the client and management installations of MED-V 1.0 SP1.
All x86-based and x64-based versions of Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2 (SP2) Standard and of Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2 (SP2) Enterprise are supported for the MED-V server installation. Additionally, the x64-based versions of Windows Server 2008 R2 are supported for the MED-V server installation.
Note MED-V 1.0 SP1 relies on the technology in Virtual PC 2007. MED-V 1.0 SP1 does not require hardware-assisted virtualization such as Intel Virtualization Technology (Intel VT) or AMD Virtualization (AMD-V).
