FIX: Static SQL queries with output parameters fail against a host system that contains a Host Integration Server 2009 Managed DB2 client

SYMPTOMS
You implement static SQL queries that resemble the following against a host system. For example, you implement static SQL queries against a z/OS system:
Select count(*) into :H From EMPLOYEE
In this case, when you run the SQL query, you receive the following error message:
Microsoft.HostIntegration.MsDb2Client.MsDb2Command
SqlCode: -804, SqlState: 07002 REASON 01
RESOLUTION

To apply this hotfix, you must have Host Integration Server 2009 installed.

WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, bind the static SQL query and then run a cursor-based query that resembles the following:
DECLARE C1 CURSOR FOR Select count(*) From EMPLOYEE
