FIX: You receive a NetLib error when you use OLE DB Provider for DB2 together with Host Integration Server 2006 or with Host Integration Server 2009 to run a query against an IBM host system (977246.KB.EN-US.1.0)
Consider the following scenario in a Microsoft Host Integration Server 2006 or in a Microsoft Host Integration Server 2009 environment:
You use Microsoft OLE DB Provider for DB2.
You run a query in the IBM host system.
For example, you run the "Select DayOfWeek ('30.02.2009')" query. This date value contains a date that does not exist, and you expect to receive the following error message:
SQLSTATE: 22007, SQLCODE: -181
In this scenario, you unexpectedly receive an internal net library (NetLib) error.
This issue occurs because the process row implementation of Microsoft OLE DB Provider for DB2 does not process returned data in which the first byte is 0x00.
