You receive a MIME or Secure MIME (S/MIME) document in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2 or in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2009.
The MIME or S/MIME document has an attachment, and there is an image in the message body.
In this scenario, the content in the message body is lost after it is processed by BizTalk Server 2006 R2 or BizTalk Server 2009.
This problem may occur if one of the following conditions is true:
You use the POP3 adapter to retrieve data from a server that houses POP3 mailboxes.
You use the File adapter to receive some MIME or S/MIME files, and you process these files by using a pipeline that uses the MIME or S/MIME decoder component.
Note If you use BizTalk Server 2009, the Event Source and Event Category in above events are “BizTalk Server 2009”.
This problem occurs because the MIME or S/MIME decoder component does not recursively process MIME levels in a message body.
