When you build a Microsoft Forefront Threat Management Gateway (TMG) 2010 appliance, and then you restart your computer to complete the configuration of Forefront TMG 2010, the application initialization fails. This problem occurs when the computer does not have a valid IP address.

This problem is fixed in Forefront TMG 2010 Service Pack 1.

To apply this hotfix, you must have Forefront TMG 2010 installed on the computer. Additionally, you must apply the hotfix before you start the duplication process.
